Family Camp

YMCA Family Camps are designed for Families of all make ups and ages. It is common to have single parent families, grandparents with grandkids, 2 parent families with kids and friends, first timers, old timers and multi generational families. In addition, returning summer staff and old friends may just drop by to say “hello”.

The activities are planned so you can be as BUSY as you wish or you could sit and enjoy a good book. Typically, there are some activities that the camp staff will lead for your school age children (age 5-8) so mom and dad can do something together. Big Adventures and Sky-Y Explorers activities are for children age 2-8 and happen in the morning.

Children age 9 and up are welcome to sign up and enjoy activities with or without their parents. Children under 9 must be with a parent unless in Big Adventure or Sky-Y Explorers.

Please remember that our Camp facilities are SMOKE FREE and ALCOHOL FREE.

You are always welcome to bring items that will add to your comfort such as, ice chests for snacks and cold drinks, bikes, wagons, hammocks, beach chairs, etc.

CABINS are dormitory style (one large room) with 12 beds, heat (and cooling at Chauncey Ranch) and the restroom/showers are a short distance from the cabins. Depending on the enrollment, families may share a cabin to maximize the usage. Our goal is to fill 8-10 beds in each cabin. Families are combined based on the ages of the kids. Often times there is a “single moms cabin” with kids.

VOLUNTEERS are always welcome at camp. Helping others is the best way to enjoy the experience. If you have a special skill, craft, or talent, we’d love to hear from you as we plan our schedule.

Youth age 8-12: $90
